Nick Cannon Discusses Vow of Celibacy With N.O.R.E. And DJ EFN On ‘Drink Champs’

We'll see.

Nick Cannon has vowed to take a break from matters of the flesh at the advice of his therapist. The 40-year-old entertainer, who has seven children from four different women, made the revelation on a popular podcast.

On Saturday, Cannon appeared on the Drink Champs podcast with hosts– rapper N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. During the episode, The Wildin’ Out host revealed that he was taking celibacy seriously– for now.

N.O.R.E. and EFN asked him about the celibacy vow and his numerous baby mamas, and Cannon took both questions in stride, saying, “I’ve always been one of those hopeless romantic types,” he said. “Compared to many, I’m low on the totem pole. I told y’all, I’m celibate right now. I’m going to see if I can make it to 2022.”

Technically, that’s only two months, but hey– he’s trying.

Cannon welcomed his last child, Zen, with model Alyssa Scott in June. Just weeks before, he and deejay Abby De La Rosa

welcomed twins Zillion and Zion.

The Love Don’t Cost A Thing star also spilled the tea on dating Kim Kardashian. About the progeny of cultural appropriation and culture vultures, Cannon disclosed that he had genuine feelings for Kanye’s soon-to-be ex-wife. The two were an item in 2006. They got together after Kardashian and Ray J split up.

“People were introduced to who she was through me,” he said. “I believe Ray J knew her before I did. I was really into her. I was vibing. We were on some serious shit. She broke my heart. Then, it started being these rumors going around that it was this tape. When I asked her about it, she denied it. I knew that they messed with each other. I never watched the tape.”
