Nick Cannon And Alyssa Scott Welcomes Baby No. 12

Baby No. 12 is finally here! Nick Cannon and Alyssa Scott welcomed their second child on Dec. 14.

Scott filmed her giving birth and posted the wholesome video on her Instagram. The video began with a quote from author Dr. Jaiya John, “Grief is the Love inside you shedding its skin, becoming a new form of Love.”

A glowing, smiling and pregnant Scott can be seen before the video cuts to a dry-erase board in a hospital room containing tally marks for bets on whether the baby will be a girl or boy. The most bets went toward the baby being a girl. The video then showed a purple-ish, beautiful baby girl, who they named Halo Marie Cannon.

“December 14 2022,” Scott wrote. “Our lives are forever changed. Zen is in every breath I take. I know his spirit was with us in the room that morning. I know he is watching down on us, he shows me signs everyday. I will hold onto this memory forever.”

She continued, “I will remember the sound of Nicks voice saying “it’s a girl” and the look of everything we’ve been through flash across his face. I will remember the sound of her crying out with her first breath and feeling her heartbeat against mine. My sweet girl, I got my surprise!! We love you Halo Marie Cannon!”

Sis2Sis previously reported that Scott and Cannon announced they were having a second child together on Oct. 26. Scott posted numerous maternity photos of her and Cannon on her Instagram page.

It was essential to the two since they lost their first child, Zen Cannon, in December 2021 due to a rare form of brain cancer, high-grade glioma. He was diagnosed with it in August 2021.
