Yara Shahidi is in her Selfish girl era.

Shahidi has captivated audiences with her talent and activism. She is known for her role as Zoey Johnson in the hit TV show Black-ish and its spinoff Grown-ish. In addition to her acting skills, Shahidi has become a role model for many young people for her activism and dedication to making a positive impact on the world. And now, she is making headlines for a different reason – her newly single status.

After being in a private, long-term relationship, the 22-year-old Harvard grad has decided to focus on herself and her career.

In an interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, Shahidi talked about her decision to end things with her partner of three years. She told Barrymore, “I like meeting people. And then the other thing is, I just got out of a relationship. So, I’m just kind of, you know, I’m a big commitment person. It was three years, so I don’t even know what to do with myself. I’m just taking some ‘me’ time. My friends and I are calling it ‘selfish season.'”

This statement has resonated with many young people, who are facing similar challenges in their own lives. But the revelation of a three-year relationship flying under the celeb news radar has a few fans puzzled an left wondering who the mystery partner could be.
