NeNe Leakes Sells $3.5 Million Home She Shared With Late Husband

Leakes put the home up for sale in September.

NeNe Leakes has found a buyer for the house she shared with her late husband, Gregg Leakes. NeNe put the home up for sale back in September after Gregg’s passing.

In September, the five-bedroom Mediterranean home was listed for sale for $4 million with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty by real estate agent Elaine Richardson. The 10,000 square-foot house is located in the Atlanta suburb of Duluth and reportedly sold for $3.5 million.

After not finding a buyer immediately, the asking price was cut

down to $3.8 million in October and again to $3.5 million in November. The home is currently under contract.

The Leakes bought the home for $2.1 million in 2015, and the actress gave a tour of the house in 2016 to PEOPLE magazine and said that she wanted an open and bright home.

“I was living in a very traditional home, and I wanted something completely different,” said Leakes. “I decided to do silvers and whites in this area because I wanted to keep it open and bright and beautiful. You can see my outdoors, and the whole idea for the outdoors was a resort, so I want some of the outdoors to come indoors.”

The home is also equipped with seven bathrooms, a large basement decorated with a game room and pool table, a full bar, a wine cellar, a beauty salon and a movie theater. The property also includes a jacuzzi, a swimming pool and a wrap-around porch.

In addition to selling her home, Leakes celebrated her 54th birthday recently at the Linnethia Lounge with her new boyfriend, businessman Nyonisela Sioh. Also in attendance was her son with Leakes, Brentt Leakes, and former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams.
