Megan Thee Stallion has just made history as the first rapper to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit edition. Of course, the beloved “hot girl” is wearing a piece from her Fashion Nova collection, and she looks terrific.
The “Savage” rapper took to Instagram to announce the exciting news, and it was clear that this is just one of many opportunities that she desired and watched come true.

“Thee first female rapper on the cover of @si_swimsuit 😭😭 I want to thank all the strong women in my life who inspired me to love my body and live my best hot girl life. It means the world to me to be on this cover DREAM COME TRUE!! 😛 #SISwim21,” she wrote.
This is a historic moment. Sports Illustrated has never had a rapper on the cover of its swimsuit edition.
Megan Thee Stallion has had an excellent 2021 so far. On top of this magazine cover, she was a top winner at this year’s BET Awards. Billboard just announced that she is currently a front runner for the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards. The swimsuits she wore in the magazine are from her collection with the discount online retailer Fashion Nova and are sure to sell out. In other words, the bag for 2021, 2022, and probably 2023 have been secured.
One thing is for sure: Megan Thee Stallion knows the power of positive thinking. In the past, she said that she manifested her successful career. That is not the only thing she manifested, according to her Sports Illustrated interview.
“I was the little girl looking at the cover of Sports Illustrated saying, ‘One day this is going to be me.’ And I manifested it,” she said.
Not only has she made history, but she has also written her own beautiful story thus far.
