Master P’s Daughter Tytyana Miller Dead At 29, Police Suspect Drug Overdose

Evidence led law enforcement to believe Master P’s daughter, Tytyana Miller, died from a possible overdose. They are waiting on the toxicology report.

Police told TMZ that they discovered drug paraphernalia at the scene, suggesting that’s what the 29-year-old died from, but there were no substances present on the scene. They also confirmed that officials performed an autopsy but the toxicology report will take about several weeks. The outlet’s sources also said that, while it hasn’t been confirmed, if fentanyl (a drug known to cause deaths from overdose) is shown in the toxicology reports, investigators will conduct an investigation to search for the supplier.

Master P shared the news of his daughter’s death over memorial day weekend in an Instagram post, requesting privacy and ending the post with, “Mental illness & substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about. With God, we will get through this. #MyAnge.”

In the comment section, long-time friend Snoop Dogg wrote, “I’m here for [you] and the family. Stay strong. P.”

His son, Romeo Miller, took to social media to ask for privacy, as well.

The following day, he posted a photo of him and Tytyana, writing, “Life is too short. Give your loved ones their flowers while they are alive. #TYTY Love You #missyou #GodGotUs Family over everything.”

Wednesday, Master P stated that he was going to invest his “time, resources, and passion” into helping those affected by the death of loved ones from a drug overdose.

“I would like to thank everyone for all of the love, prayers, and support,” the post read. “The only way that we are going to heal and grow from this is with the truth. It has been a long and painful journey for our family, my daughter has been battling with this since 2015. Mental illness and substance abuse is a real issues and we hope to turn this tragedy into a testimony. As a father, I have always established parameters to protect my children. Unfortunately, when they become adults, they have the legal right to choose who to have relationships with whether healthy or unhealthy. I put my faith and trust in God, I realize that no person is exempt from pain or death. Every day families are dealing with the loss of their loved ones due to mental illness and substance abuse. I have committed to invest my time, resources, and passion to help other families affected by these same issues. Our healing process will not end in grief, we will celebrate her life. Tytyana was inspiring, uplifting, artistic and a loving person who deeply cared for others.”
