Madonna Fans Cried White Tears After Lizzo Proclaimed Janet Jackson “The Queen Of Pop”

Madonna could never.

Last Sunday, Lizzo dropped a list of all of her pop faves by rank on Twitter.

“King of Pop- Michael Jackson

Queen of Pop- Janet Jackson

Prince of pop- Bieber

Princess of Pop- Britney Spears

The Pop princess- Rihanna

Queen of music- Beyonce,” she wrote on the social media platform.

Madonna (mostly white) fans were tight at Madge’s omission from the Queen of Pop title. Clearly, they take their mediocre idols seriously. Of course, they sounded off on Twitter. But if we’re keeping it a buck– Madonna could never. And rightfully so. In 2017, Complex reported that 90s Madonna was something like a hater after she penned a nastygram calling songstress Whitney Houston and actress Sharon Stone- “mediocre.”

“It’s so unequivocally frustrating to read that Whitney Houston has the music career I wish I had and Sharon Stone has the film career I’ll never have,” Madonna wrote. “Not because I want to be these women because I’d rather die, but they’re so horribly mediocre, and they’re always being held up as paragons of virtue [or] some sort of measuring stick to humiliate me.”

Whitney Houston > Madonna. PERIOD.

Anyway. Some of the “Take A Bow” singer’s delusional fans called Lizzo “disrespectful.”

Fortunately, some folks set the Madonna stans straight.

Although Madonna may be an icon to many, she doesn’t have the range to compete with Janet- Ms.Jackson if you’re nasty.
