Black X ran up on Love & Hip Hop‘s Erica Mena, 35, with blackface accusations after a side-by-side photo of her and Nene Leakes emerged.
An X user posted the side-by-side of Nene and Erica on Tuesday to compare the two, even though the L&HH reality star resembled singer-songwriter (and the real Cinderella) Brandy, from skin color and eyes to face structure.
Many critics didn’t take kindly to Erica’s change in skin pigmentation. Some didn’t see the problem since Erica’s ethnicity is a mixture of Puerto Rican and Dominican.
However, many remember the 35-year-old having much lighter skin.
Black X went off with some comparing her to Khloé Kardashian, who was also accused of blackface and attempting to copy Beyoncé’s face.
