LL Cool J Responds After Talk Of His Music Videos Go Viral On Twitter

He shared a video on TikTok and Twitter.

Actor and rapper LL Cool J responded with a TikTok video after learning that fans talking about his old music videos were trending on Twitter.

The “I Need Love”‘ singer, whose given name is James Todd Smith, shared a video on TikTok and Twitter in which he discussed

his old music videos and poked fun at himself. He also joked about what he would have done differently.

The tweets began with a Twitter user posting that LL Cool J was ridiculous in his music videos.

The tweet quickly went viral and received hilarious responses from fans noting the rapper flirted with women while on bicycles and buses in his videos.

“LL Cool J was ridiculous in every music video he was in. Just go look,” wrote Patrick Pryor.

“How did LL Cool J just walk up on some random chick spitting game and then at the same time telling her hush.”

“LL Cool J dirty macking with no car. Pulls up to the mansion on a bicycle like he’s Lance Armstrong,”

“LL Cool J needs to answer for this. This man is a menace! Does he even know this woman?!? Why does he just have this syrup on deck like that?!?”

LL Cool J just walking up into a party and flirting with the chick playing the guitar,” wrote another Twitter user.

“LL Cool J when he wake up and see why he trending on Twitter.”

The rapper responded on social media with a funny TikTok video shared on Twitter explaining his creative choices for his music videos and said he was playing by his own rules.

“Yeah, I was definitely ridiculous, that’s my goal, I make my own rules,” he said. “Playing the guitar on a young lady’s leg…. My father always said when I asked him if he worked out, he’d say, ‘The heaviest thing I lift is a leg.’ I always loved that. I think I should have had two or three girls, though. I should have had a whole band. Drums and all that.”

In his video “Loungin (feat. Total),” where he poured Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup on a woman’s leg, he said he was “wylin'” but should have used more chocolate along with a giant paintbrush.

“Definitely was wylin’,” said Smith. “Although I always felt it should have been more chocolate, maybe using a giant paintbrush or something and just really go in. That’s what I woulda did, now looking back. I should have went a little further with it, but yeah it was unhinged.”

LL also joked he wasn’t too cool for the bus.

“I ain’t too good for public transportation,” he said about another video. “I got to go.”
