Lizzo Hosted And Performed On Saturday Night Live

"My name is Lizzo, and yes, I’m shocked that I have clothes on, too," the singer said during her opening monologue.

Artist Lizzo got her chance to host Saturday Night Live and even performed on Saturday night’s long-running comedy sketch show.

At the start of the episode, Lizzo began her open monologue with a joke that pokes fun at the singer’s usual choice of style.

“My name is Lizzo, and yes, I’m shocked that I have clothes on, too.”

She said that the show would try to break the record of how many times b***h was said on live TV and spewed the word out a few times to add to that record. She then addressed the rumors about her dating life.
“I read a lot of gossip online that I’m dating every white boy in Hollywood,” Lizzo said. “They think I’m collecting members of One Direction like Infinity Stones.”
She then talked about the gossip about her and Captain America actor Chris Evans.
“I even heard a rumor that I’m pregnant with Chris Evans’ baby,” she said. “I have no idea where that one started. It could be the TikTok I did where I said I’m pregnant with Chris Evans’ baby. It’s called manifesting.”
Lizzo was also included in some of the sketches, like the one that made fun of the musical group Black Eyed Peas’ songwriting process for some of their hit songs like “Boom Boom Pow,” “I Got a Feeling,” and “Let’s Get It Started.”
Another sketch is where Lizzo needed assistance writing two new songs to overcome her writer’s block. After that, the “Truth Hurts” singer took the stage to perform her actual new songs. The first song she performed was “About D**n Time.” The second one was “Special,” where her mom, who was in the audience, introduced
Lizzo for her second performance.
The two songs are on Lizzo’s upcoming album, which will be released this summer. On top of her new album, Lizzo has a reality show called, Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.
