Lil Yachty Called Out For “Laughing” When Sexxy Red Revealed That She’d Been “Raped”

X users went in on Yatchy for being completely insensitive and rude.

Lil Yachty is getting slammed online for his out-of-pocket reaction to Sexxy Red revealing that she was raped. In a recent conversation featured ironically on Yatchy’s A Safe Place podcast, the “SOLO STEPPIN CRETE BOY” rapper asked what was the craziest thing that ever happened to her.

Yatchy asked the“Hellcat SRTs” artist to talk a bit about the question, and she replied honestly, “I got raped before; that’s the craziest thing that’s ever happened to me.”

After an awkward pause, Lil Yachty and his podcast co-host, MitchGoneMad, laughed and told Sexxy that’s not the kind of answer they had in mind.

She continued to answer instead, “I don’t know, shootout?” Both hosts graciously accepted the answer.

However, Mitch eventually offered his sympathy to Sexxy in response to her first answer. He said, “Wait, wait, wait, we just wanted to say we are sorry that happened to you. That is unfortunate.” Mitch expressed. Yachty seemed to chuckle a few more times and then added: “That is unfortunate.”

Rightfully, social media users called out Yachty and Mitch for their nonchalant response to Sexxy admitting something as vulnerable as being sexually assaulted on their podcast, calling them “insensitive,” “disgusting,” and lacking compassion on X.
