“Like That, Like So”– Tabitha Brown Is Opening Up A Vegan Restaurant In Los Angeles

She's come such a long way.

Vegan food enthusiast, actress, and social media personality Tabitha Brown announced via an Instagram post on October 20 that she is officially opening up “Kale my Name,” a vegan restaurant in Los Angeles, California.

Brown’s spot is based on the original restaurant based in Chicago, where she fell head over heels with the concept of the place while filming season four of The Chi television series. 

The TikTok mogul shared that she’d be opening a new location in Los Angeles with the owner of “Kale My Name,” Nemanja Nekac Golubović. 

Brown wrote on her Instagram post, which features a video of her announcing the news at the restaurant’s location, “I’m opening my first vegan restaurant!!”

She continued, “Family it’s officially happening!!! I’m opening my very first restaurant. I’m so thankful and grateful to bring @kalemyname to Los Angeles as a Co-owner. Y’all It’s about to be Very Good!!!!! Stay tuned for more updates on opening day!! We will also be at @vegandalefestival this Saturday so you can get a preview!! OOHHH GOD I THANK YOU. Keep dreaming big y’all!! OMG I’m so excited!!! #tabithabrown #vegan #restaurant#losangeles”

In a separate post, Brown showed the world what the restaurant is going to be working with. She wrote, “Here’s what I’m bringing to LA!!!” as a caption to her video showing off some of the delicious food customers can expect to see on the menu of “Kale My Name.”

“I fell in love with @kalemyname while staying in Chicago earlier this year and when my family came to visit, they fell in love too!! The food, energy and experience is what I’m so excited to bring to LA!!! @nicfew @choycebrown@meishmoe @nekac_golubovic  Kale my name LA Coming soon. #vegan #foodie #tabithabrown,” she wrote.

“If you have a idea or a dream, a thought, honey, do something with it,” she said in her video. “This is about to be my first restaurant experience, something I never even thought I could do, but here we are—a great partner, a restaurant that I love and believe in, here in California. And I ain’t gon’ stop here. That’s what my spirit’s saying: ‘Tab this is the first but not the last.’”
