Leslie Jones Joins The Cast of STARZ Network Hit Series ‘BMF’ For Season 2

Jones will portray Federal Agent Tracy Chambers.

STARZ sleeper hit show BMF is adding some new flavor to the series with the addition of a new castmate.

Former Saturday Night Live alum Leslie Jones is set to join season two of

BMF, and she’ll portray Federal Agent Tracy Chambers. Her character is a hard-nosed agent that knows how to get around the red tape and bureaucracy of the law enforcement agency. Chambers is described by the network as a woman who “suffers no fools and has a wicked wit to back it up.”

The 54-year-old Memphis native has had a string of successful films and television shows preceding BMF, including Coming 2 America, Our Flag Means Death, Ghostbusters and The Black List.

In addition to Jones starring in the series, STARZ has also added other female heavy-hitters to the show. La La Anthony, Christine Horn and Kelly Hu will join the lineup.

According to the network, BMF, which is executive-produced by rapper 50 Cent, “is inspired by true legends who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in this country.”

The series premiered last September to rave fan reviews. The breakout hit averaged 6.5 million views over multiple platforms from the series’ inception to the finale.

BMF stars Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., the son of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, Da’Vinchi, Russell Hornsby, Michole Briana White, Myles Truitt and Steve Harris.

Snoop Dogg, newcomer Arkeisha “Kash Doll” Knight, Wood Harris and Serayah have recurring roles on the show.
