B. Simone has joined the growing list of celebrities who have an aversion to bathing every day. Black Twitter cooked the podcast host on the social media platform.
The 32-year-old influencer and up-and-coming comedian admitted to not taking showers on a regular basis. On November 16, the social media personality, born Braelyn Simone, divulged the information to her co-host of the Know For Sure podcast, Megan Brooks, that she didn’t think it was necessary to wash up on a daily basis.
Brooks said in the clip, “You don’t shower every day?”
Simone scoffed and replied, “I don’t shower every day. You just need to be with somebody you can be yourself with.”
Simone said, “Yeah, but what’s the boundary? Because you have to have decorum. I don’t think I’m nasty.”
Brooks side-eyed her co-host.
She continued, “I’m not going three, four days unless I’m like thuggin’ it.”
Brooks asked, “But when are you thuggin’ it? If you take a shower on Monday, when’s the next time you take a shower?”
“Like…Thursday morning.”
“So two full days,” Brooks interjected.
Black Twitter went in immediately.
Simone took the dragging in stride. The Know For Sure host posted a hilarious video of herself in the shower to Instagram. The 32-year-old woman was lathered up and talking smack to those who clowned her.
“Damn, y’all happy?!! Now go shop TODAY only @bsimonebeauty www.bsimonebeauty.com. Use promo code SHOWER50 for 50% off the ENTIRE site ? !!!! We have bomb goodies and the best lip gloss ??? go enjoy while I enjoy my 1st shower of the month ????,” she captioned the clip.
She also took shots at naysayers by singing Outkast’s “Fresh And Clean.”
Let’s hope Simone starts bathing more frequently.
