King Of The Light-Skins Smokey Robinson Announces Latest Album ‘Gasms,’ And It’s Giving Zaddy Vibes According To Social Media

The 82-year-old Motown legend is clearly STILL about that life.

Motown legend and king of the light-skins Smokey Robinson is dropping a new album, and the title and playlist leave absolutely nada to the imagination. Social media users caught wind of the album and its freaky title and lost it.

On January 27, the Detroit-born 82-year-old crooner posted a tweet giving details about his latest project, “Gasms.”

Smokey dropped the first single, “If We Don’t Have Each Other,” late last month.

“My New Music is OUT NOW!!! ‘If We Don’t Have Each Other’ is my New Single available on all platforms… the New album ‘GASMS’ is available April 28, 2023. Pre-Order to hear it first! Pre-order here:

“Gasms” is set to drop in late April, and Black Twitter had plenty to say about Smokey’s new heat.

Here are some of the best reactions.

The nine-track album has spicy titles like– “I Wanna Know Your Body, “I Keep Callin’ You,” and the spiciest title on “Gasms–” “I Fit In There.” On Instagram, Smokey’s fans praised “If We Don’t Have Each Other.”

IG user @upsetbeats wrote, “Just listened to it earlier today!..classic sound and feel..loved the song!?”

“This slaps. Still showing us how to do it,” user  @cristianjermane penned about the Motown legend.

Someone else praised Smokey’s new single, writing, “I love it, Smokey, because you don’t have nothing if you don’t have each other and if you don’t have the Lord with you❤️.”

“Whewwww. This is ?????,” another person wrote.

In light of his new project, the 82-year-old green-eyed loverboy gave peak light-skinned ni**a during an interview with VLAD TV. Smokey revealed that he and the “Boss,” Diana Ross had a fling while he was married to his first wife, Claudette Robinson.

It happened later after I got married. After I got them signed up at Motown. That’s when that started,” he disclosed.

Have you listened to Smokey’s new track?
