Keyshia Cole Removes Son From Donda Academy After Ye Threatened To ‘Shoot The School Up’

"That scared me a bit," she said.

R&B singer Keyshia Cole has removed her son, Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr., from Donda Academy after Kanye West threatened to “shoot the school” up.

Earlier in October, Keyshia shared that she removed her son Daniel from Ye’s school for his bizarre comments. The rapper opened the private pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade school in Ventura County, California, in 2022.

“I took my DJ out of Donda sadly after ye said he was back to shoot the school up. That scared me a bit,” she tweeted.

The musician added that despite rumors claiming that parents should sign an NDA for their children to attend, she didn’t do so.

“And there was no NDA signed. Idk who may have, but that wasn’t brought up to us,” she said.

The singer’s tweets arrived after Kanye made some weird now-deleted comments via his Twitter account.

“DON’T SPEAK ON ME, LIL BOOSIE; SPEAK TO ME, YEAH, LITTLE NERD A*S. COME SMACK ME OR COME SHOOT ME; I’M THE ONE THAT GOT BULLIED BY THE ENTIRE BLACK CELEBRITY COMMUNITY. NOW I’M BACK TO SHOOT THE SCHOOL UP,” he wrote.

Ye’s sentiments were in response to Louisiana rapper Boosie’s vocal about the artist’s antics–more specifically, his thoughts about the tragic George Floyd incident in 2020.

“@kanyewest, THE HATRED YOU HAVE FOR BLACKS IS SAD. [AND] they STILL SUPPORT YOUR COON ASS. First, Slavery was a choice, [then] white lives matter, now George Floyd, etc. [AND] IT’S SAD THAT BLACKS WITH A PLATFORM AIN’T TELLING U SH*T for ATTACKING OUR RACE LIKE U DO #WELLIAM U SICK FRFR,” Boosie tweeted.

Veteran radio personality Howard Stern even recently said

Ye is “like Hitler,” to which the Chicago artist responded, “Howard Stern. Nobody wants to kiss your d*ck, so sh*t the f**k up. And by the way, I’m antagonizing you, Howard Stern. I used to be a fan of you…Now you’re just doing clickbait like everybody else. Now you’re just a sad old man.”
