Kevin Hart Bought An Eagle And Named It After Philadelphia Eagles’ Quarterback Jalen Hurts

"I'm the only Black man with an eagle during Black History Month," Hart joked.

Comedian and die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan Kevin Hart announced in a TikTok video posted Tuesday that he bought an eagle in light of the 2023 Super Bowl happening on Sunday, Feb. 12, to show love to his favorite team.

In the video, a man is seen whipping up a cocktail while Hart told viewers about his $16.5 million purchase that he named after Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurt.

“The big game is coming up,” Hart began. “So, you already know how I’m celebrating, correctly….But, before I get into how I’m celebrating, I want to tell you why. Because I worked hard and I believe when you work hard, you should treat yourself, and that’s exactly what I did….I splurged a little bit, I went and bought an eagle.”

The camera panned to show a man with a giant eagle on his arm. Hart proudly exclaimed he bought the eagle for $16.5 million.

“I’m the only Black man with an eagle during Black History Month,” he said. Hart said that the white man holding the eagle came with the purchase. “He lives here for two months until he gets used to me.”

The Night School actor then called to the eagle by his new name, Jalen.

“Jalen, got a big game coming, baby. You ready?” He asked.

Hart then questioned if the eagle could “take a lap around the house” on command, to which the man said no.

“Well, they should’ve told me that before I bought it,” the comedian said. “They didn’t tell me that. So, somebody’s got to get some type of refund. We’ll discuss that later.”

He then said he was about to enjoy a cocktail he named “Screaming Eagle,” originally called “Mellow Mojito.”

“Big game coming up, big moves and I got an eagle,” Hart said with pride. “Jalen, you live here now. Welcome home.”

Jalen, the eagle, began to spread his wings and move around, scaring 5-foot-2 Hart.

“What you doing?” He repeatedly asked, leaning over in fear.
