Kerrion Franklin Calls Out Family For Leaving Him Out Of Photos On Social Media

Kirk posted a photo of himself, his wife, and all his children except for Kerrion.

Kerrion Franklin, son of the gospel singer Kirk Franklin, called out his family for excluding him from photos in an Instagram post on Wednesday, December 21. He mentioned that the image included Kirk, his wife, three children, and the family of their oldest child. Kerrion reposted the picture and pointed out that he was never invited to be a part of them.

The 34-year-old captioned the reposted story, “I’m never invited to these pics. Let him enjoy his fantasy.”

Despite being left out of those family pictures, Kirk captioned his original post with a bittersweet caption after Kerrion pointed out how he was purposefully left out of them.

Kirk wrote, “Perfect father? No. Perfect husband? No. Perfect Christian? GOD NO. This picture is perfect because it’s gone through a process…. Filters, coloring, all the things to make it perceivable that’s how we always look. There are no perfect families, so this holiday season, take that pressure off of yourself and love the flaws, failures and blemishes of your human family. I love mine, and I thank God that they love me through my process….perfectly.”

He finished the post with “Merry Christmas.”

Commenters of the post pointed out the irony of the whole thing, saying that it was almost like Kirk knew there would be questions about the missing family member.

The Franklin family has always had tensions. The most notable was last year when the Zeus Network star released an audio clip of Kirk and him violently arguing and cursing at each other. The leaked clip went viral on social media due to the apparent animosity between the father and his estranged son.
