Karlie Redd Publicly Addresses Cosmetic Surgery Rumors: ‘Let’s Keep It Real’

"Everybody's talking s**t about my face," she said.

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Karlie Redd recently addressed plastic surgery rumors via Instagram Live, saying, “Let’s keep it real.”

According to reports, Karlie, whose real name is Keisha Lewis, went on Instagram Live to dispel rumors that she got plastic surgery done on her face.

“Let’s talk makeup. Let’s talk real s**t. You know, because everybody’s talking s**t about my face, so first of all…Let’s keep it real. I got lip injections,” she revealed on IG Live.

Karlie continued, claiming her makeup artist of ten years, who she called “Tim,” has always told her to stop getting lip injections.

“Tim is always getting on me, like, ‘Stop doing the lip injections or whatever.’ So, I’m going to stop because everyone is always talking s**t about my face. That’s all I got on my face. I had not gotten surgery, but I always make Tim do my makeup with the eyes slanted because he has this technique that he does that makes my eyes look real catty. That’s my thing.”

The reality TV veteran added that she never got a nose job and drove her point home by asking Tim about it.

“Tim…you’ve been doing my makeup for how long? Have I ever got my nose done?” she asked him.

“Not one,” Tim responded.

“My nose has always been straight. Look at my daughter’s nose. You can tell we come from a family of straight noses. I’m sorry, baby,” Karlie insisted.

In addition to being on LHHATL, which is in its 10th season, Karlie has been working on a music career. On Aug. 13 she released a new song called ” Werk, ” featuring her good friend, Dancehall artist Spice, and NYC crooner Capella Grey. The video, which pays homage to her Trinidadian roots, premiered via BET on Aug. 17.
