Judge Denies Wendy Williams’ Ex-Husband’s Request For The Alimony Payments To Continue

The epitome of a scrub. N***a, get a job!

While Wendy Williams is dealing with her health issues, her broke ex-husband Kevin Hunter requested to the judge that his ex-wife continue his alimony payments. The judge luckily denied it and attorney fees payments.

According to The Sun, the judge claimed Hunter’s demand wasn’t a hint of an emergency to where he could be granted the payments. However, he could take the case to mediation.

According to the case, Hunter and Williams agreed to the alimony payments while divorced. However, Hunter says those payments stopped in February 2022, and because of it, his “car insurance hasn’t been paid,” and he has been “behind on credit card payments.”

Additionally, he could be facing foreclosure if he doesn’t pay homeowners association (HOA) fees.

“The fact that I am unable to sustain my life and pay my bills in order is extremely emergent to me,” Hunter pleaded. “I cannot pay my bills and sustain my day-to-day-living.”

He argued that he was never informed

why the payments suddenly stopped.

Williams’ bank account was frozen due to her financial guardianship because she was said to be going through “financial exploitation, dementia, or undue influence.”

Williams’ lawyer said that Hunter understood the payment would cease if Williams’ contract was “suspended, canceled or terminated” and if she didn’t have another show on the air paying her the exact amount she was being paid. The lawyer confirmed she hadn’t had an upcoming show or an income since October 2021.

Hunter isn’t the only one impacted by Williams’ frozen bank accounts. Their son, Kevin Hunter Jr., was evicted from his Miami apartment because he was late on rent—about $70,000.

Williams had spent a couple of months at a rehab center in Malibu, California, due to her severe issue with alcohol combined with other health issues. After being away for so long, her show, The Wendy Williams Show, was canceled and replaced with Sherri Shepherd’s new talk show, Sherri.
