Jennifer Hudson And Common Reportedly Seen On A Romantic Date In Philly, Tiffany Haddish Responds

Sources say the two were getting "flirty."

Oscar Award-winning singer and actress Jennifer Hudson and Grammy Award-winning rapper and actor Common were allegedly seen on a date in Philly.

Jennifer and Common, whose real name is Lonnie Rashid Lynn, were spotted having a romantic dinner date in the city of brotherly love. The sighting left fans speculating that the two could possibly be in a relationship.

In a DM reportedly sent to pop culture outlet Deuxmoi, an unidentified source, alleged that Jennifer “was cozy and flirty with Common” while dining at the popular vegan restaurant Vedge. The source, who claimed to be at the restaurant, added that there was “lots of cuddling and giggling” between the two entertainers.

Common was last seen in a public relationship with NAACP Image Award-winning comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish. The former couple split in 2021. The pair reportedly began dating in 2019 after meeting on the set of Food Network’s The Kitchen.

Tiffany seemingly threw shade at the 50-year-old rapper following reports that he was spotted on a date with Jennifer. She took to her Instagram account on July 26 to post a meme of an elderly man in a wheelchair with a snarky caption about men and commitment.

“Men be like, I’m finally ready to settle down and be in a relationship,” the hilarious meme said. In the post’s caption, The Los Angeles native wrote, “That’s why I hang at Adult Daycares for fun! I know I will find a real one in there.”

Jennifer, on the other hand, was last romantically linked to her now ex-fiancé, lawyer and WWE commentator David Otunga. The former couple split in 2017, after being in a relationship following their engagement nearly ten years prior in 2008. They also share a son, now-12-year-old David Daniel Otunga, Jr.

The EGOT winner and Common have been busy filming for the upcoming film Breathe in Pennsylvania.
