Jason Derulo Opens Can of Whoop A** On Man A For Cursing Him Out At Las Vegas Hotel

On Tuesday, “Wiggle” singer Jason Derulo put hands on a man in Las Vegas after the brazen gentleman called him Usher and cursed him out.

TMZ reported that Derulo and his crew were going up the escalator of the Aria Hotel when an unidentified man from another entourage was heard yelling, “Hey, Usher! F**k you, b***h.”

Those were fighting words for the Haitian-American singer because Derulo swiftly ran down the escalator and leaped across several people, including a large bodyguard, to serve the rude man a two-piece. Video footage revealed his security also clocked another man.

Later, the “Whatcha Say” artist was escorted out of Aria in handcuffs but not arrested. The men weren’t hospitalized for any injuries.

After the singer’s career reached its pinnacle in the early to mid-2000s, Derulo’s rise waned for a substantial amount of time. However, the Florida native’s career has been revived thanks to TikTok. Although he wasn’t a fan of using social media platforms, the pandemic was Derulo’s saving grace.

“I was never really a social media guy because Twitter and Instagram didn’t really speak to me. And when it started, TikTok was more of a dance app, and I tried a challenge or two. But because I was at home, I started to experiment with it,” Derulo explained. “More than half of the top TikTok videos are comedy, so I’d post things and be like, ‘OK, they don’t respond to this, but they seem to like that,’ and learned what made it tick, for lack of a better word. And it all just kinda exploded.”

Derulo has grown his TikTok followers from six million to a boastful 51.1 million followers. Many of his videos contain his adorable baby boy, Jason King.
