Lori Harvey and Michael B. Jordan’s breakup has caused some mixed reactions from social media users. But one thing is for certain…the People Magazine’s 2020 Sexiest Man Alive is single. Not only did Lori’s father Steve Harvey confirm it on The Steve Harvey Morning Show, but Lori’s Instagram did, as well. The model’s Instagram is devoid of Jordan’s existence. Additionally, the two stopped following each other.
The cringe part of it all is Jordan hasn’t taken down his pictures of his ex-girlfriend. He still has his Feb. 16 post that displays the model wearing a white mini dress with a white coat on and the caption reading, “I love her,” followed by a white heart emoji.
Below that post is a video of the two playing football on the beach with another couple. After Lori catches the ball, she is picked up by Jordan in celebration. The caption on that one reads,
“Happy B-Day to my turtle. My favorite Patna in crime.”
As for the reason why the two broke up, a source told People magazine implied
that while Jordan was ready to commit, Harvey wasn’t.“Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term,” the source said. “He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time.”
The source added, “They had great times together and brought out the best in each other.”
In response to the news of his daughter’s breakup, Steve Harvey expressed that he wasn’t much concerned about the split since they happen many times, but he’s mostly concerned with his stepdaughter, stating that he’s on her team.
“As long as everybody can walk away in peace, and be friends,” he said. “As long as you don’t put your hands on my daughter, I don’t give a d**n what you do.”
“He’s still a cool guy, though,” the comedian added.
And, of course, the Twitter choir had a lot to say about the situation.
