It’s A No For “Legs, Hips, Body,” Kandi!

The song is from her musical "A Mother's Love."

To Twitter fans, The Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star Kandi Burrus’ 2014 song, “Legs, Hips, Body,” isn’t giving. The song is from her 2014 musical A Mother’s Love. It resurfaced after the former Xscape member posted a video on TikTok of her rocking patent leather thigh-high boots and booty shorts at the Lovers and Friends festival with her song attached to the video.

‘I was giving #LegsHipsAndBody at the #loversandfriendsfestival,” the caption read.

@kandi I was giving #LegsHipsAndBody at the #loversandfriendsfestival ♬ original sound – kandi

And despite her looking good, people couldn’t help but talk about the song, with one commenter saying it feels like “a BBL Ritual song.”

“Legs, Hips, Body” not only had people cringing but also had them questioning the reality star’s songwriting capabilities since she wrote hits for other performers like “Bills, Bills, Bills” for Destiny’s Child and “No Scrubs” for TLC, but wrote this song for herself.

One Twitter user credited the singer for her songwriting skills, noting how the song is unwillingly stuck in everyone’s heads.

On top of the silly tweets and comments, people paired the song with other hilarious videos, like one TikToker who added the piece to a video of Baby Bop from Barney dancing.

@dreasvinyl Idk why I thought of Baby Bop and her hips when I heard this sound #legsandhipsandbody ♬ original sound – kandi
@akier_chiilee THIS SOUND HAS ME DEADD IB:I forgot the tag ??? #FrunktheBeat #katespadenycabana #TopGunMode #livelaughslay #slayy #blacktiktok #xyzabc #fyp ♬ Legs, Hips, Body – Kandi & D. Woods & Porsha Williams & Funkydineva & Various Artists

Singer Chloe Bailey joined in on the discussion of the song, joining the choir of people who claim they can’t get it out of their heads.

The track features the singer’s RHOA costar Porsha Williams, Danity Kane star D. Woods, and Funky Dineva.

And while many may not like the track, Burrus is still making her money.
