“I Know Y’all Talk About Me Walking In My Heels,” Viola Davis Jokes About HTGAWM Character’s Signature Strut

Showing off her comical side, the actress joked along with HTGAWM fans on social media.

Emmy Award-winning actress Viola Davis recently resurfaced a clip of herself poking fun at How To Get Away With Murder fans and playfully admitting that she knows people talk about the way she walks when wearing heels on the show. Fans on Twitter instantly jumped in on the joke and shared their love for HTGAWM’s Annalise Keating character, as well as her unique and powerful strut.

“I see y’all,” Davis captioned a tweet last week with several laughing emojis, featuring a 2019 clip of the actress speaking at a media event and several parodies of fans mimicking her character’s walk.

Taking it all in stride, the 56-year-old Fences star joked in the old snippet, “If I can be a real woman if I don’t have to walk around in heels – ’Cause I know y’all talk about me walking in my heels,” adding “And that’s a little f**ked up of y’all, but I get it,”

Sharing their own version of the famous Annalise Keating heel stomp, one Twitter user shared under Davis’ tweet, “But when I did it at work when we had dress-up day for kids lmaooo,”
