Vlogger Tasha K, real name LaTasha Kebe, apologized to rapper Cardi B after the court denied her appeal for the defamation lawsuit she lost against the “I Like It” rapper.
In a since-deleted Tweet, Tasha K wrote, “Damn Winos! We lost the appeal…against #CardiB sad day..but I’m gonna be alright…I appreciate all your love & support. Throughout this fight. Today we throw in the white flag…what happened will never happen again…To Cardi & her team, I apologize sincere. We live, & learn.”
The UnwineWithTashaK host posted a screenshot of the Tweet to her Instagram and wrote in the caption, “Talk about a check my mouth can’t cash!!”
Since 2019, Tasha K and Cardi B have been going toe-to-toe in a legal battle. The “Money” rapper took the vlogger to court for the defaming content she has made about her, alleging that Cardi performed sexual acts using beer bottles during her stripper days. She professed Cardi had herpes and was a prostitute.
The judge sided with Cardi and ruled that Tasha had to pay the performer nearly $4 million in damages and legal fees. The judge added that she had to remove her content on the superstar and barred her from reporting on the rapper.
Tasha K defied and attempted to appeal the decision but failed.
It’s unclear why Tasha K deleted the apology. She retweeted a post from a Cardi, Latto and Sza fan who called her out for deleting the apology and acting “unbothered.”

Tuesday, she made a post jokingly asking about the part-time job she should take since she had to pay the rapper back. She tagged Mcdonald’s, Wendy’s and Burger King food chains, asking if they had positions available.
