BREAKING: R. Kelly Found Guilty In Brooklyn Court

R. Kelly has been found guilty of a plethora of misconduct allegations against young women and children.

The R&B singer was finally convicted of the egregious crimes after a jury consisting of five women and seven men found him guilty of racketeering. Kelly was also found guilty of sex trafficking on Monday. The racketeering charges stemmed from Kelly’s ability to have people close to him recruit his young victims and cover up the crimes.

The “I Believe I Can Fly” singer evaded justice for decades for sex trafficking his young victims.

As previously reported by Sis2Sis, the sexual deviant had been accused of making young girls fight for food and giving them a sexually transmitted disease. Many of the girls were underaged.

Although the singer was lambasted by some, Kelly has never been fully canceled. His records still sold, and people still sampled his music, allowing the perverted man to

still earn money. Even as the public learned that his short-lived marriage to deceased singer, Aaliyah, was factual– he never lost clout.

After the guilty verdict was determined, attorneys held a press conference outside the Brooklyn court where U.S. District Judge Ann Donnelly presided over Kelly’s trial.

One attorney said on behalf of one victim, “I want to thank the U.S. attorney’s office and federal prosecutors in this case. Thank you for shining a light on and helping me get out from under that rock that I stayed under for far too long.”

Kelly has pleaded not guilty to other sex-related allegations in two different states–  Illinois and Minnesota. The trial dates for those cases have not been set.
