‘GMA3’ Hosts T.J. Holmes And Amy Robach Will Remain Off The Air Until Ongoing Investigations Are Complete

The two were spotted enjoying a romantic getaway in NYC.

On Monday, Good Morning America employees received an email from ABC News president Kim Godwin announcing that their fellow co-hosts, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, will be “off-air pending the completion of an internal review” of their rumored relationship, according to E! News.

“I understand that the continuing coverage (of the relationship) can be distracting from the incredibly important work our team does here at ABC News,” Godwin said in the memo.

She informed staffers that they will continue rotating anchors on the show “for the time being.”

“It is my hope that we will continue to focus our energy on what we do best, and I want all of you to know how immensely proud I am of your hard work and professionalism.”

As previously reported, Holmes was accused of having affairs with several other ABC employees. While many of the insiders are anonymous, one of the women with whom Holmes admitted to having an affair was ABC’s former producer Natasha Singh. Singh and Holmes engaged in an affair amid his over ten-year marriage with Marilee Fiebig.

The investigation aims to examine Holmes’ history and see if he violated the company’s rules while forming relationships with subordinate employees. He could lose his job if found guilty of breaking company guidelines.

Many employees weren’t happy with Robach and Holmes’ relationship, especially since they had significant others. Godwin wasn’t pleased about the relationship because it could tarnish GMA‘s reputation, prompting her to remove the two.

“For now, I am going to take Amy and T.J. off the air, while we figure this out,” she said during a 9 a.m. meeting.

Holmes and Fiebig married in 2010 and had their daughter, Sabine. However, his affair with Singh put a damper on their relationship. After Homes and Robach’s secret surfaced, a source confirmed that the current affair blindsided Fiebig.

Robach and her estranged husband, Andrew Shue, got married in 2010. She filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage. Shue removed traces of her from his Instagram.
