Fivio Foreign Denies Being Roofied at Paris Club

He called out TMZ for the fake news.

Fivio Foreign has addressed reports claiming that he was roofied during an altercation at a Paris club.

The Brooklyn rapper took to Instagram Stories to deny the allegations, stating, “Wat kinda lies these people puttin out… How can yu [sic] lace me Imma drug baby.” He further called out TMZ for spreading fake news and requested that they reach out to him directly for clarification.

The incident in question reportedly took place during Fivio Foreign’s performance at L’Arc nightclub in Paris. TMZ reported on Sunday, June 25 that the 33-year-old got into an altercation after being roofied, leading to his interaction with the police. However, Fivio Foreign asserts that these claims are untrue and expressed gratitude to XXL Magazine for accurately reporting his response.

“Thank yu [sic] for reaching out to my actual team,” he wrote.

This is not the first time Fivio Foreign has addressed rumors. Earlier this year, a videographer accused him of not paying for videos shot during the Rocking the Daisy festival in South Africa. Fivio Foreign acknowledged the issue and apologized, promising to rectify the situation. He emphasized that there were past discrepancies in handling matters but assured that things are now being handled more effectively.

Ultimately, Fivio Foreign’s denial sheds light on the potential pitfalls of misinformation and the power of artists to assert their truth in the face of false narratives. By directly addressing the situation, he sets the record straight and maintains transparency with his fans, reinforcing the importance of accurate reporting in the music industry.
