At last, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky revealed their firstborn’s name, ostensibly honoring Wu-Tang Clan member RZA.
The Daily Mail obtained a copy of the birth certificate, which divulged that their firstborn’s full name is RZA Athelston Mayers. The soon-to-be 1-year-old shares the same middle name as his father. Rihanna gave birth to baby RZA on May 13, 2022.
The “Diamonds” singer and “L$D” rapper hasn’t released a statement or a “sike,” but Twitter users are praying for one.

Maybe I’m a hip hop nerd, but RZA is a pretty cool name for your kid. Especially if you’re a billionaire.

Prior to the name drop, Rihanna and A$AP did drop hints that their son’s name would be associated with the Wu-Tang Clan. Like when they went to dinner last month at the Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi, Rihanna dressed casually in a Wu-Tang jersey. A$AP has also donned several Wu-Tang shirts and did a song with Drake called “Wu-Tang Forever.”
The Wu-Tang Clan is a hip-hop group from the ’90s, known for hits like “C.R.E.A.M.,” “Back in the Game” and “Method Man.”
Robert Fitzgerald Diggs is RZA’s real name.
Rihanna and A$AP are expecting their second child. The “Cheers (Drink to That)” singer revealed her pregnancy news during her performance at the Super Bowl.
