Fans React To Tyra Banks Interviewing Megan Thee Stallion Appearing Fully Clothed In Hot Tub

The "WAP" star is the first female rapper to cover the magazine's swimsuit edition.

Megan Thee Stallion’s career has been on the rise for some time now, and while still enjoying fanfare from her recent release of “Thot Sh*t,” the 26-year-old has now made history by becoming the first female rapper to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated Magazine’s coveted swimsuit edition. Tennis superstar Naomi Osaka and trans-actress-model Leyna Bloom also

received the honor, and will be featured as cover models along with the “Savage” rapper.

Supermodel and former talk show host Tyra Banks, who became the first Black woman to be featured on a Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover as a solo model in 1997, interviewed Megan Thee Stallion in a hot tub for the magazine. And while fans went up for the representation of women of color and LGBTQ+ identity brought by this year’s cover models, the talk of social media was also largely focused on Banks’ interesting outfit choice.

Appearing to be fully dressed in a gown, many were left questioning why the former America’s Next Top Model host was sitting in a hot tub without a traditional-style bikini.

“Tyra Banks sitting in that hot tub fully clothed with Megan,” one person joked on Twitter.

One fan claimed that it was actually a bodysuit, tweeting, “It’s a bodysuit! I have the same one,”

“This is great but I’m distracted by them being in a hot tub and Tyra being fully clothed,” another person added.
