Fans Drag Erykah Badu After She Showed Support To Travis Scott Over Recent Astroworld Tragedy

"Bless you @trvisXX . Safe Journey to all the souls. I’m so sorry." Badu tweeted earlier this week.

Erykah Badu found herself in hot water this past week after offering support to Travis Scott following the death of several fans at his Astroworld Festival concert last Friday. Many dragged the “Call Tyrone” singer on social media over her recent tweets, with users wondering why she chose to “bless” the rapper during the tragic event’s aftermath.

On Monday, Badu tweeted to her 2.7 million followers, “Bless you @trvisXX. Safe Journey to all the souls. I’m so sorry .”

After a Twitter user replied to her post, “NURSE SHES OUT AGAIN!!!” the neo-soul songstress shot back, “f*k u h*.”

Shading Badu for her support of the “Goosebumps” rapper, another user tweeted, “Travis doesn’t need blessings. He needs to pay funeral + medical bills. Outta pocket, but it’s Erykah Badu’s weird-ass, no surprise there.”

“Bless Travis??? Bless the families and all the people he traumatized,” another person tweeted at Badu.

Others saw things from Badu’s point of view, with a fan adding, “Glad you’re taking this stance Erykah because it’s crazy to assume he isn’t grieved/doesn’t need prayer after this. This is traumatizing on so many levels for an artist to go through, especially with the conspiracies/cancellation campaigns that are following.”
