Eva Marcille Gives Her Opinion on Porsha’s Engagement

The engagement story that will never die is in the news again. Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Eva Marcille decided to give her two cents on the shocking engagement of castmate Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia when she was a guest on a recent episode of the Wendy Williams Show. And, like all things on Wendy’s show, Marcille didn’t hold back.

“The situation is just funky,” said Marcille, after explaining her beliefs on the sanctity of marriage.

But when it comes to Porsha, the mother of two’s opinions were less than complimentary.

“I don’t think much about her– outside the fact it goes across my Instagram,” Marcille told Wendy. “I do not like Porsha. She’s not my friend.”

She added, referring to Porsha’s controversial violation of the girl code, “I would still never hook anyone up with Dennis [McKinley] either because there’s a code. At some point she was my friend, at some point, we were cool, and that alone– I wouldn’t just do it off of girl code.”

Porsha’s engagement has further marred the friendship between Porsha and Simon’s former wife RHOA star Falynn Guobadia. Falynn was introduced to the show as a friend of Porsha while she was still married to Simon.

In April the couple revealed they were going through a divorce, and last month Porsha disclosed that she had been with Falynn’s soon-to-be ex-husband for one month. She said she did so once he was out of his previous relationship. Porsha maintains that she and Falynn were not really friends, so going after her man doesn’t break any of the unspoken rules. While that argument is shaky at best, if that’s what helps her sleep at night, then she can go with God.
