Love & Hip Hop: New York stars Safaree and Erica Mena welcomed their son into the world on Monday.
The Jamaican rapper posted the announcement on Instagram early Monday evening. The photo included the proud dad holding his bundle of joy.
“MR. Straittt, Jr. is here,” the caption read.
Safaree also posted another touching pic of his little man gripping his finger.
“Another me… That’s all the world needed.”
The couple announced Mena’s second pregnancy in early May. Later that month, the expecting mother filed for divorce amid accusations of Safaree’s infidelity and a tumultuous back and forth between the pair.
Mena also filed for sole custody of their 17-month-old daughter, Safire. She also petitioned the court for child support and permanent placement in the couple’s Atlanta home.
Prior to Mena giving birth, the reality star posted maternity looks and hair tips.
She’s yet to announce the birth of her son, and the couple hasn’t mentioned the baby’s name.
