“Buss It” rapper Erica Banks has Black Twitter side-eyeing her for twerking in front of a group of male football players during a high school performance on August 19 at Frederick Douglass High School in Atlanta. Banks walked up to a crowd of teenagers in a packed gymnasium during a pep rally in a clip that just surfaced. The video’s caption raised some questions, “
Mind you, she is at a high school!! Why tf you twerking for children!”Banks responded under The Neighborhood Talk’s reposting of the video, “Girl, didn’t nobody touch them, kids, clearly,” Banks replied, “We had a great time. Good day.”
While the students appeared entertained by the performance, critics went right to Twitter with Bank’s choice of dance in front of a group of children.
A few posts attempted to defend the Texas native, saying her behavior is not all that uncommon.
In response to all the Twitter posts about her flooding in, the rapper hilariously put out a tweet of her own.
