Egypt Criss Marries Sam Mattick In Las Vegas

The "Growing Up Hip Hop" star married the rapper on Jan. 31.

Salt N Pepa star Sandra “Pepa” Denton and Anthony “Treach” Criss’ daughter, Egypt Criss,  married rapper Sam Mattick last month.

The 23-year-old Growing Up Hip Hop star wed Mattick on Jan. 31 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Little Vegas Chapel.

Egypt posted several photographs of the wedding on Instagram on Feb. 5 with a caption thanking everyone for their good wishes.

“I want to say thank you to everyone for the beautiful Congratulation wishes ?, I am filled with love and joy. Also, so thankful to God for bringing us together in Holy Matrimony and grateful to start a beautiful journey with a great support system and know that our love can get us through anything ♥️ @sammattick

Egypt’s famous parents, Denton and Criss, were on hand to witness the nuptials. Rapper Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony was also in attendance for the ceremony.

Sam Mattick proposed to Criss during his show at Whiskey A-Go-Go in Los Angeles in 2019. The couple initially planned to tie the knot in December of 2020, but Criss didn’t like the idea of a Christmas wedding.

“I’m actually glad my instincts told me about this before this broke out because we were going to have our wedding in December of 2020, but I was like hmm, that’s Christmas time, I really just want the focus all on me. This is Jesus’ birthday. This is a time of celebration and family. I’m like, no, I needed someplace different.”

The coronavirus pandemic postponed the wedding further, but the two are hitched now. The new bride told E! News that she and Mattick couldn’t be happier.
