Easter ‘Verzuz’ Recap: Mary Mary & BeBe and CeCe Winans Made Us Catch The Holy Ghost

This Ressurection Day was slightly different as gospel greats Mary Mary & BeBe, and CeCe Winans went head to head in a memorable VERZUZ Easter battle.

On Sunday (April 17), both duos breezed through their hits, including “Thankful,” “Close To You,” “Can’t Give Up Now,” “Walking,” “Lost Without You,” and “I’ll Take You There.”

VERZUZ shared a few photos from the special event on Instagram for fans.

“What a way to celebrate Easter! A BIG thank you to @iamtinacampbell, @imericacampbell, @bebewinans, and @cecewinans for the unforgettable night ✨ ? @walik1 (1-4),” the caption read.

One photo featured THE Stevie Wonder, who came to share some wisdom about voting rights, the anti-lynching law, and how “America has so much possibility [and needs to] grow up and get the job done.”
