Dr. Dre’s Mistresses Ordered To Testify In Divorce

Divorce is like a volleyball game, and in this set, Nicole Young, the soon-to-be ex-wife of Dr. Dre, just scored. On Thursday, Page Six reported that Young’s request for three of her estranged husband’s mistresses to testify was granted. Dre, whose birth name is Andre Young, had a successful rap career with N.W.A. (Niggaz Wit Attitude) back in the ‘90s and amassed a reported $800 million fortune through various business enterprises.

In June 2020, Young filed for her marriage’s dissolution to Dr. Dre, citing irreconcilable differences. Throughout the remainder of the year, there were numerous accusations launched across the net from both sides. Things appeared to tumble downhill after Nicole requested $2 million per month in temporary spousal support, and her husband declined. From there, Dre asserted that Nicole signed a prenuptial agreement in 1996. Nicole responded that there was no such agreement. Once the former rapper produced the agreement, his wife said it was no longer valid.

Last October, Nicole asked the judge to subpoena three women who allegedly had affairs with Dre. Of course, they wanted nothing to do with this mess. Through their lawyer, Kris Le Fan, they said that it doesn’t matter if it’s true or not that they were his mistresses (insert wink emoji) because, in a no-fault state like California, evidence of “misconduct” is inadmissible in court.

But last week, the “discovery referee” (mediator) David Weinberg decided that the three women could indeed offer information that would assist in deciding the issue of temporary support and the validity of the prenup.

Two of the three lovers have connections to the music business. Killi Anderson is a former model and developed the beauty line Skin and Senses. Crystal Rogers co-wrote a song that was on a Dr. Dre compilation album. Jillian Speer is a singer-songwriter. Dre claimed that he was never romantically involved with Anderson.

The mistresses should have reconsidered their penchant for creeping because due to their ducking and dodging, they were fined a total of $10,000 in penalties which breaks down to  $2,500 apiece as Dre was also hit with the fine as well. Young wants to know if her husband was using the same money he didn’t want to give her to shower his paramours.

Neither Nicole nor Dre’s respective attorneys have commented on the recent ruling.
