Phoenix Suns Devin Booker and model Kendall Jenner are over, but it’s possibly only temporary. After being together for two years, the two decided to call it quits because they felt like they were on “different paths.”
A source told Entertainment Tonight that the former couple discussed plans for the future but discovered they weren’t on the “same page.”
In May, Jenner and Booker attended Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s wedding in Portofino, Italy where they had a great time yet even the wedding nor Italy’s romantic ambience weren’t enough to persuade the two to stay together due to their conflicting futures.
Unlike in other Kardashian-Jenner relationships, Jenner and Booker were able to keep their relationship under wraps and out of the public eye. Their relationship didn’t surface on social media until 2021. They have been spotted going on double-dates with Justin, and Hailey Bieber and the 26-year-old has attended many of Booker’s games.
Back in January, a source told
ET that the two were very serious and were their genuine selves around each other.“They get along so seamlessly and have really fallen hard for one another,” the source said. “It’s serious for sure. They love that they can genuinely be themselves around each other. It takes no effort, and things are easy. They both love that. Kendall’s family loves Devin and think he is super talented. They think he is just the type of guy that Kendall needs. He is athletic, sweet, fun and still a gentleman.”
The ex-couple have been broken up for over a week and Booker, his reputation and career seems to be okay following the breakup, which is almost rare when dating a Kardashian-Jenner.
The “Kardashian curse” has entered the chat.
Coined by fans, the term “Kardashian curse” refers to the bad luck that occurs to anyone who gets close to any Kardashian, whether in a friendship or romantic relationship. The effect has even extended to those associated with the Jenner sisters.
Some of the “curse’s” victims are Scott Disick, Blac Chyna, Kanye West, Tristan Thompson (his fault), and Jordyn Woods.
Sorry for the breakup, Booker but congratulations on avoiding the curse.
