Daniel Kaluuya Celebrated His Oscar Win with All His Fine A** Friends Over the Weekend

Black brotherhood, we love to see it.

Daniel Kaluuya is probably flying high after his Oscar win over the weekend, and he’s taking his bros with him.

The actor was spotted with a slew of Black British baes while celebrating his Academy Award win, according to Essence. On Monday, Rapper Dave posted a video of Kaluuya, himself and actors Michael Maris and Damson Idris marveling over the statue.

In the video, the four men passed the statue around and encouraging words were flowing. One friend repeatedly highlighted the “big moment” and told everyone, “yours is coming.”

Meanwhile, Kaluuya had a full n***a moment when he flashed his pinky ring for the camera.

As the men celebrated, the camera panned to the plaque inscribed with Kaluuya’s name and the honor he received. On Sunday, he received the Best Supporting Actor award for his portrayal of Black Panther Party leader Fred Hampton in Judas and The Black Messiah. He is the first Black British man to receive the honor, according to Yahoo Movies UK.

A day before the Oscars, rapper Giggs posted a group selfie featuring Kaluuya, Idris and Dave with a few other friends, including soccer star Daniel Sturridge and Not3s. They looked like a big buffet of fine.

A video posted on Idris’ page showed the men engaging in a playful debate about who was the “CEO of Dark Skin Society.”

Truth be told, we couldn’t understand half of what they were saying, but who cares? Look at all that Black boy joy.

Kaluuya wasn’t just spotted with his UK friends. Fred Hampton Jr. tweeted a video of him and Kaluuya sharing a moment after the latter’s victory. The video started with a long, emotional embrace between the two men. They didn’t say much, but it wasn’t necessary. No words, just brotherhood and good ass vibes.

We love to see it.
