Last weekend DaBaby released a new track titled “Sneaky Link Anthem.” The 30-year-old bad boy rapper, known for dropping heat, didn’t get the reaction he was expecting from the new joint.
“Sneaky Link Anthem” video dropped on Jan. 16 on Instagram, and fans were not impressed. Although the footage was aesthetically pleasing, the lyrics left some folks giving the “Masterpiece” emcee a side-eye. Social media users cooked the rapper in the comment section and on Twitter.
@diorqueen59 didn’t mince words.
“Flop.”
@nuski63 said, “Make better music.”
@lilnyatyb kept it a buck, saying, “At yo big age … why are you rapping about sneaky links?”
The comments on Twitter weren’t any better.
The rapper seemed unbothered by fans’ judgment. In grand DaBaby fashion, he posted a video of playing the abominable song, saying, “They hating on me, and it’s okay.”
We’re confident the problematic rapper will be just fine.
