Da Brat Didn’t Like Sister LisaRaye Spilling Information On Private Matters During Podcast Interview

"I feel like we should handle our personal stuff or any questions that we have for each other amongst each other," Da Brat said on Brat Loves Judy.

During season two, episode four of Brat Loves Judy, Da Brat revealed her feelings behind her sister, LisaRaye McCoy, airing her feelings regarding personal issues in McCoy’s interview on TMZ’s podcast It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper. The WeTV episode aired on June 30.

In the Feb. 10 podcast episode, interviewer Harper brought up Da Brat’s baby announcement, which the Chicago-born rapper posted on social media. McCoy told Haper that she found out about her sister’s pregnancy through social media and not directly from her sister.

She then recalled a time when the same thing happened with her sister coming out as a lesbian. She was doing an interview with Cocktails With Queens and asked about how she felt in regards to her sister coming out but didn’t know what they were referring to, only to see a different side of her sister on social media.

In a clip from Brat Loves Judy, Da Brat opened up to Judy about how she didn’t like her sister talking about personal issues to the public.

“I feel like we should handle our personal stuff or any questions that we have for each other amongst each other,” Da Brat said.

“No one knows the emotional stuff that happens behind closed doors with me and you,” Judy told Da Brat.

During her confessional, the Kaleidoscope Hair Products CEO said that “Brat should look her sister in the f**king eyes and tell her that s**t hurt her feelings.”

“One thing I don’t ever have to question is this one and how she don’t play about me,” Judy continued. “[And] I the same with her. I’m very protective of her. It’s important.”

The entire podcast wasn’t centered around her sister. McCoy discussed how women’s body image has changed over the years and how social media platforms like Instagram dominate business, especially the entertainment industry.
