Cynthia Bailey Says Ex-Husband Peter Thomas Reached Out Amid Mike Hill Divorce, Says He Called Her A “Queen”

Cynthia Bailey recently said her ex-husband Peter Thomas reached out amid her divorce from Mike Hill and called her a “queen.”

According to Page Six, Thomas reportedly reached out to Bailey and wished her the best.

“Peter reached out to me,” she told the outlet at BravoCon 2022 in October. “He said he just wishes me the best. He told me I was a queen and that I [deserve] the best, so that was really, really nice.”

Thomas’ sentiments came as no surprise, as he and Bailey were previously married for seven years before their divorce was finalized in 2017.

A year later, in 2018, the former RHOA star began dating Hill, a sportscaster, and the couple tied the knot in 2021. The wedding aired during her last season on the show.

Less than a year later, Sis2Sis previously reported, Hill and Bailey decided to call it quits.

“They really do love each other, and it wasn’t anything scandalous or anyone at fault. It just didn’t work out,” an anonymous source said.

Fans speculated that the split was due to cheating rumors, but Bailey said she just felt “there was some incompatibility.”

“Our relationship and our marriage came with a lot of big transitions. I basically moved to a different city, a different house, [and] started a whole new career at 55 years old. So that was all a lot of stress for me,” she said. “I think there was some incompatibility. We’ve always been, for the most part, in a long-distance relationship, and that’s not easy.”

Bailey and Hill released a joint statement recently, saying they “will always have love for one another.”

“LOVE is a beautiful thing. While we both will always have love for one another, we have decided to go our separate ways,” they wrote. “We are grateful that we remain good friends and will always cherish the many memories we’ve shared together as husband and wife.”
