Chlöe Bailey, one-half of the talented R&B duo Chlöe x Halle, recently released her highly anticipated debut album In Pieces.
The album’s commercial success has been underwhelming, with it debuting at No. 119 on the Billboard 200 chart and only selling 10,000 copies in its first week.
Many fans have taken to social media to criticize Beyoncé, who manages and signed both Chlöe and her sister Halle to her label, Parkwood Entertainment.
Some have accused Beyoncé of not doing enough to support Chlöe ‘s solo efforts, while others have argued that the album’s sound does not align with the duo’s original style.
One user wrote, “Beyoncé literally hates her lol didn’t do anything for the album couldn’t even give her a feature and she not even opening up for her during the tour. Chloe need to leave that label.”
Another said, “Beyoncé nasty for not promoting Chloe’s album a simple IG repost would’ve probably gave Chloe a top 50 debut. mind you if this was Nicki’s artist, they would’ve dragged her to hell and back.”
