Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson Welcomes Newborn Daughter With Fiancée Sharelle Rosado

Former Miami Dolphins player Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson recently welcomed his newborn daughter with fiancée and Selling Tampa star Sharelle Rosado. Sharing the moment he clipped the baby girl’s umbilical cord on Instagram Sunday, Johnson revealed to fans that Serenity Paula Johnson had officially arrived.

“Just delivered Serenity “Hurricane” Paula Johnson ?,” the NFL baller wrote, sharing a photo of himself draped in a hospital gown, mask and gloves. 

According to People, Rosado discovered she was expecting while filming the Netflix series Selling Tampa. The outlet revealed this August that the couple was expecting a daughter together.

“It was shocking. I think I was crying and laughing at the same time. I just can’t wait,” Rosado told People at the time. “It’s actually going by so fast. I found out I was pregnant while we were filming, so time is flying. It doesn’t even seem like it’s been that long.”

“It’s a little hard because while we were filming, there were times when the ladies were enjoying themselves, having fun, drinking. In the blink of an eye, you just had to cut off everything because now you’re pregnant. I still feel like I’m the life of the party. But it’s just nice to give a toast with champagne. Can’t do any of that,” Rosado added. “Alcohol is not something that I really need. If I want to feel like I am with them, I’ll just get Sprite. Make it look like it’s champagne, something bubbly. Then I feel included.”

People Magazine reported that their baby girl is Johnson’s eighth kid, with Rosado now being a mother to four children. 

This past November, the reality television star shared a beautiful photo that appears to be from a maternity shoot, featuring Rosado wearing a long, flowy pink gown. “A mother’s love for her children is like nothing else in this world. You’re already my everything,” she captioned the photo on Instagram.

Showing her gratitude for her fiancé in a post last month, Rosado wrote on the social media platform, “Truly grateful to have you in my corner baby @ochocinco ❤️” Johnson commented back to her, “I’m also grateful to have a corner to be in & take being a stay at home dad with extreme solemnity.”
