Cassie’s Husband Throws Shade At Diddy’s New Song

Diddy's new single “Gotta Move On" supposedly describes his relationship with Cassie.

Cassie’s husband might get an honorary Black card for throwing shade at his wife’s ex, Diddy after he dropped a new song.

Diddy’s new single “Gotta Move On,” featuring Bryson Tiller dropped on Friday. The song describes his decade-long relationship with singer, model and dancer Cassie. It comes four years after the two split in 2018.

After the song’s release, Cassie’s hubby, Alex Fine, who has been married to Cassie since 2019, shared a post on his Instagram Story throwing shade at Diddy.

The post threw shade at Puffy while wishing the LGBTQ+ community a Happy Pride month.

Fine wrote, “Happy Pride to all my LGBTQ+ friends. Attached is a charity that helps people who are in the closet and GOTTA MOVE ON. Along with other resources.”

Diddy never confirmed if the song is about his ex Cassie, but the lyrics speak for themself.

“If she don’t want my love, I’m guessin’ I gotta move on, I guess / I guess, I guess, I came a little too strong, I guess / She don’t want my love, I guess I got move on I guess (Gotta move on),” Tiller sings on the chorus.

“Sent you some things, yeah, when I was done drinkin’, like/ Girl, he with you for the wrong reasons ’cause you was with me/ Uh, tell him, “Stop reachin'” (Stop reachin’)/Guess that’s just the jealous in me/I’m salty, I need it, my wounds keep bleeding/ You found a new man, so I gotta move on/ Guess you got a new agenda, but you know you barely know, I won’t/ Said you’re wrong, guess you had to move on,” Tiller continues in a specific verse that seems to point directly at the two’s decade long love affair.
