Cardi B Responds To Internet Critics Over Grocery Prices Rant

She urged others to complain and air out their frustrations about the high prices as well.

Award-winning rapper, Cardi B, recently responded to internet critics over a rant about grocery prices.

As per usual, Cardi took to her Twitter page to share her thoughts on the matter.

“Naaaaaa grocery shopping prices are ridiculous right now. [Eyes closed emoji] you might as well eat outside !!” she tweeted on Jan. 3.

She followed up her sentiments with another tweet, saying, “B*tch, why lettuce cost six dollars where I live at?” as the prices are seemingly higher than what she’s used to in her hometown, a notorious food desert, the Bronx. Her tweet included a video of fellow rapper, Remy Ma.

The following day, Cardi released yet another video explaining her stance to critics.

“I wanna see for myself what the f**k sh*t is being spent on […] I’m seeing everything tripled up, so of course, I’mma say something. The f**k?!,” the agitated entertainer said, before adding that she believes there’s actually a chance things can change. The 30-year-old Bronx native continued, saying that because has a large platform to speak her thoughts, she will urge others to rant about their frustrations too.

In other Cardi news, Sis2Sis reported that she recently gave her Instagram followers advice if any of them were considering getting a BBL like hers.

“In August, I did surgery, and I removed 95% of my biopolymers. If you don’t know what biopolymers [are]…a** shots,” she said during an Instagram Live. “It was a really crazy process. All I’m going to say is…if you young, if you 19, if you 20, if you 21 and sometimes you too skinny, and you be like, ‘OMG I don’t have enough fat to put in my a**,’ so you result to a** shots, DON’T!”

The procedure, popular amongst Blacks and Latinos, has posed as an issue for a number of years due to its prominence in the hip-hop community. Over at News Onyx, one concerned woman spoke out about it after her friend died from getting a BBL at a phony doctor in the Dominican Republic.
