Cardi B On Funky Celebrity Trend Of Not Bathing, “It’s Giving Itchy”

Join the club, Cardi.

The latest hot topic has been surrounding the recent discussion of celebrities and their bathing routines. On August 10, Cardi B took to Twitter and said she doesn’t understand why people are saying they don’t shower.

The “WAP” rapper said, “Wassup with people saying they don’t shower? It’s giving itchy.”

Joining those who bathe regularly and do not engage in white folk tendencies, Cardi reacted to the new, stinking trend among celebrities. As of late, some celebrities have overshared information about their bathing habits– or lack thereof.

The most recent actor Jake Gyllenhaal revealed that he doesn’t find bathing regularly “necessary.”

“More and more, I find bathing to be less necessary, at times,” Gyllenhaal, 40, told Vanity Fair last week while promoting Prada’s Luna Rossa Ocean fragrance.

“I do believe because Elvis Costello is wonderful, that good manners and bad breath get you nowhere. So I do that. But I do also think that there’s a whole world of not bathing that is also really helpful for skin maintenance, and we naturally clean ourselves.”

This comes a few days after actors and couple Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell were asked about their bathing routine and shared that they do not bathe their kids every day but wait until they stink.

The non-bathing discussion initially began with one of America’s most beloved couples, That 70’s Show’s Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher.

The pair told the world that they do not bathe regularly but instead wait until necessary, only cleansing themselves minimally daily. Besides this, the couple said that they do not wash their children every day because that too is unnecessary.

Like Cardi, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is another celebrity who refuses to participate in the nastiness and reassured his fans that he does not associate with the trend.
