Brian McKnight And His Second Wife Leilani Gave Birth To Their ‘Rainbow Baby’

Welcome to the world, Brian Kainoa Makoa McKnight!

R&B singer-songwriter Brian McKnight and his lovely wife, Leilani McKnight, welcomed their newborn into the world, a baby boy. Meet Brian Kainoa Makoa McKnight!

The singer-songwriter posted the announcement to his Instagram on Monday, Jan. 23, writing in the caption, “‘For this child, we have prayed, and the Lord has granted us the desires of our hearts: 1 Samuel 1:27. God’s greatest gift, our son is here!!! Brian Kainoa Makoa McKnight. We are so in love!!!!”

He posted a photo of his and Leilani’s hands forming a heart with their rainbow baby’s hand in the center.

The 53-year-old crooner announced they were expecting their newborn in November 2022, about six months after the couple lost their son, Kekoa Matteo McKnight (in May).

In the post addressed to Kekoa, Brian wrote, “You are truly our precious gift from God, our son, love that is everlasting and eternal.”

The Mcknights had a massive gender reveal party on the beach, which ended with a fireworks show to celebrate Kekoa.

There are no further details regarding what the newborn looks like, but that didn’t stop social media users from throwing congratulations and well wishes toward the couple.

“Congratulations, beautiful family! May (sic) Brain Jr. be blessed, loved, healthy and happy! Much love,” one user wrote.

“Congratulations, Brian and the Mrs, God is good,” another person wrote in Brian’s limited comment section. “Welcome to the world (sic), Brian Jr.”

Just to clarify, baby Brian is not a junior since he doesn’t have the same middle name as the singer.

Congratulations to Brian and Leilani on the birth of their healthy baby boy!
