Blueface Stabbed By “Stranger” While Training In LA Boxing Gym

The assailant is yet to be identified by name despite surveillance footage.

Los Angeles-born rapper Blueface was stabbed in the leg by an unidentified stranger as he was training in a boxing gym in his hometown for an upcoming match. On the morning of Wednesday, August 24, the incident was caught on surveillance footage.

Blueface, 26, was attacked at 10:30 AM at the Kaminsky Boxing Gym in Reseda and is recovering from the hospital’s stab wound. The injury has kept him from being able to participate in his boxing fight scheduled for October 14.

The surveillance video shows the assailant wearing a white tank top, jeans, and sneakers. The man appeared agitated as he approached Blueface, who was wearing a chest protector and boxing gloves. The rapper’s trainer, David Kaminsky, got between the pair as they seemed to exchange words.

The video showed Blueface ducking around Kaminsky and punching the unidentified man several times in the face and in the body. The video cut out before the stabbing as the man stepped back and pulled a knife out of his pants. After stabbing Blueface in the leg, the man reportedly fled the scene in a black Tesla Model S without a license plate.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Blueface opened up about the incident on his Instagram Story in a voiceover accompanying the surveillance footage.

“He keeps approaching me with a look in his eye. I know that look,” Blueface said over the video. Reportedly, the assailant entered the boxing gym screaming, “I’m going to kill you,” before approaching the rapper.

He posted another short clip on his social media, revealing bloody bandages wrapped around his leg.

“It’s just a leg shot, guys, I’m okay. You don’t gotta blow up my phone or nothing.”
